Before opening Valley of the Moon Skin Care, Melissa and Michelle both worked together at an award winning hotel and spa in Sonoma where they not only developed a great friendship but perfected their skills in skin care, waxing, and makeup.
Melissa and Michelle jumped on the opportunity to work together and be their own boss. Valley of the Moon Skin Care is a small studio located in the Oakmont community of Sonoma County with the goal to provide each client with their own personalized relaxing experience.
Melissa graduated from Milan Beauty institute in Concord and also received her bachelors in Communication studies from San Francisco State University. With years in the esthetics field Melissa strives to educate clients on the importance of skin care and ultimately making them feel beautiful in their skin.
Michelle has been in the health and beauty industry for over 12 years. She graduated from Lytles redwood beauty empire college, and has several certificates in body work. Her passion has always been to help people relax and look and feel their best.
Both Melissa & Michelle are extremely passionate about making every experience at Valley of the Moon Skin Care flawless.
Sandra is a certified massage therapist with over 20 years of experience working in high end resorts & health clubs throughout Sonoma County.
Sandra stresses the importance of massage both for our physical and emotional well being. Massage has endless health benefits.
She is an expert in swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, & reflexology & personalizes each treatment to meets her clients goals.
